In November 1968 the USS Power anchored in Danang Harbor, Republic of Vietnam (RVN). This event alone meets the RVN offshore waters as described in the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019 (Public Law 116-23, enacted 01 July 2019). Additionally, the Powers conducted Naval Gunfire Support (NGFS) missions off the coast of RVN during the months of January and February 1969 which also meets Public Law 116-23 RVN offshore waters requirements for presumptive herbicide exposure benefits. Good to know to those Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans who served on the Power check out this link more information to follow on the Power Web site Agent Orange exposure.
